A Note from Tammey

This is Skylers weekend with his mom so he won't be posting this weekend. I thought I would take a moment to jump in here and catch you all up on what's going on with him :)

He's done such a turn around in school! We've really noticed great improvement in the last few months. We just had parent, teacher conference and we are so proud of his improvements! His MAP scores were in the top 90% and most of his grades were above average. He still needs to work on handwriting and working in groups so we will be tackling that next.

Our next exciting adventure is a play. When he told me about it I really encouraged him to try out for it. At first he didn't like the idea, but the more we (his dad and I) talked about it, the more excited he got. His dad took him after school for the try out and stayed to watch. He is such a GREAT dad! Chris said Skyler was a little silly, but seemed to take the try out seriously and did pretty well. See the post below for Skylers reaction to the news that he actually got a part! ~ Tammey
